I would like to put crown molding around a vaulted ceiling. The ceiling is 15 feet high along one wall and 8 feet high along the opposite wall (4/12 pitch). I am having trouble coming up with a good way to finish the corners. Does anyone know of a good technique?

You might find the below link helpful. Basically you need to carry the level portion of the crown onto the rake, cut sort-of as a pie wedge, to properly make the transition. Buy an extra stick of crown to fiddle around with to figure it out on-site.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I find it easiest to cut the cope on the pie-wedge piece, rather than the main level piece. The level piece goes tight to the corner with a butt cut, then cut the cope joint on a larger piece of stock before you cut it into a pie-wedge. Watch the fingers. Have fun.
I just did this using decorative blocks in the corners to make the crown angle cuts very simple.
