my wife and i are remodeling a 30 year old home. the house has a poured concrete foundation with a brickledge.
we have removed the brick and are planning to re-waterproof the basement before we install cultured stone approx.
2 to 3 feet up starting from the brickledge. should i just waterproof from the brickledge to the footing or should i continue up past the brickledge
and then apply metal lathe over the waterproofing and install the stone. i’m cocerned that the stone will absorb moisture and cause problems in the basement and that the stone is properly attached to the house, and not to void any warranties.
