I hope to be putting my home on the market within the next two to three months. What do home inpectors really look for? My impression is that they are trying to find things that will drive down the price for the buyer. How does one handle an inspection report that addresses issues that do not apply to a house because it was built under codes that are now 30 years old?
What generally appeals to a buyer to get them to look at a 30 year old home?
