   I'm thinking fourty two cents, but I could be fantascizing.

   But with your rig, I would expect you to do better deducting actual cost instead.

   I has changed to 48½¢ per mile.

   Yes,  48.5 cents per mile and it was odd that it was increased during the year.  I don't recall any prior adjustments for a partial year. 

   I hope it goes back to an annual rate period.

   It changes every year in January.  This was an unusual mid year change due to the rapid and unexpected increase in fuel prices.

   Hey thanks guys...I was doing my quarterly stuff last weekend and with the new truck and everything...I thought I had read here it had changed.
