Switched to this stuff a couple years ago. luv how it fills all voids, have heard of cases of it settling, leaving voids at top of stud bays after a few years. my sub says it shouldnt be a problem if correct amount of moisture is used, but because i cant see inside later on to check, how to tell if initial job was done correctly? Any thoughts ?

I did alot (for me) of research on this ... even purchased the equipment to be able to do it myself... never used it and prob never will... i can't buy the material as cheap as i can get it blown in....
I've gone to a few jobs where they were spray'n it in... and i really don't see how it'd drop too much if at all... the water activates a binder or glue in the product... and once cured it's pretty much a batt...
in my situation i'm using it more for the sound retarding properties than for the thermal ones... but a full fill is still the major issue...
i don't see settling as an issue...

There are a couple of ways to check it. A thermal imaging cameral would show if the insulation settled. They are real expensive. A cheaper way is to use a infrared thermometer.
good idea on the thermometer, got one sitting 6 inches away on my desk, got it
for christmas, had no idea what to use for. will have to figure out a discreet way
to check, last 3 installs were specs, all sold i dont want to cause unneccesary alarm with the owners. would you check on inside or outside of wall?
Around here you just look for spots on the roof where the snow's melted.

checking for melted spots on the roof is great for attics, but i'm referring to walls,my sub seems diligent as far as attics go(no melted snow) so i guess i have to trust his experience on this. thanks
Just wait for an ice storm that coats the walls. ;)
