Somehow I knew that would happen, that's why I added the word Deck in the title.

    Didn't help. Roar!

when you open a can of what ever and shake it up you are bound to get some on yourself.

Some people seem to think that building codes should be followed when convienent.  I'll bet the 6" is not up to current code, (don't live in Fla), but there are a lot of older hotels/vacation places there, so it may have been up to code when it was built.

    tragic thing, kids getting hurt

that is so wrong, kids are gifts we need to protect

with all our hearts and bodies

    but you know what

lawsuit is coming, I bet they did not have to pick up the yellow pages to find a lawyer

I bet they wer lined up at a ticker tape machine with "what number is next"

but where was the parent supervision

sipping margaritas or with their friend Johnny Wlaker or Jim Beam

sorry , I dont mean to belittle the situation, the kid was not at fault, and I pray to my god that the kid lives and grwos up to be a productive person. a nail pounder of course !!!

    ............

    ................

my origanal thought when I read the title of this was ...............

6 inches not enough..................heard that from my last girl friend

I dunno ... but do U have kids? Have you ever let go of their hand for 1.5 seconds?

I would love to hear just once on the news ...

and the father said ... "Yeah, a lawyer contacted us .. said we would win millions ... but we figured ... if they promise to fix all their railings, we'll definitely watch our little boy more closely" ....

        Parent supervsion

        a little off track here

did anyone see the news sho the other night of a.........well

three kids are racing cars at night. an 17 year old boy in the front car, bimmer

a 16 yyear old girl driving, in a new mitsi eclipse that her mom gave her if she promised not to drive fast,  had a 15 yearl old passanger, girl had had licence for 5 weeks

and a boy in the third car

110 miles an hour, girl loses control of car, gets in accident, tragically both die

shortly before the accident the 15 year old is overheard on the cell phone crying and begging the other girl to slow down or let her out, and the other girl laughing, while driving and on the phone at  ?? speed

mom isists only way girl woul dhave done that was if she was pushed too

high school friends ( of the girl !!)  testify she was a speed demon road racing every chance she could

BOY IN FRONT CAR is charged with man slaughter and given 6 years minimum, now serving

Boy in rear car takes a plea agreement and gets 1 year and probation

where was parent responisbility on that one, of course blame it on someone else not the fact you give your daughter a new mitsi eclipse.

wouldnt be surpeised if they are trying to sue mitsi for making fast cars

dont take me wrong it is tragic that the girl died, very tragic and I feel sad for both girls family. more so for the passanger who wanted to slow down

but did the boy really force her, and now his life is ruined.

I think it was in Oregon someplace like Bend ?
