I am building a deck with pressure treated lumber. The lumber has been sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks. While it feels dry, I know it’s still wet. I’ve read and heard 20 different theories on when to weatherproof or stain a new deck. Can someone give me the definitive answer on how long I need to wait after construction is done to finish/stain my deck?
