My deck has a bench for seating running around its perimeter. I plan to install a railing along the back of the bench to prevent the kids from falling off when they climb up on the bench.
Is there a standard height for a railing on a raised bench? I’ve seen suggested minimums for a railing off the deck floor, but not off a raised bench. I’d like to minimize the height while still being safe.
