I’m building a deck and would like recommendations for decking material. The supports will all be PT southern pine, but I’d like a non-treated wood (not composite or plastic) for the surface. I’m considering southern yellow pine or red cedar. Any pros/cons or other recommendations? How about recommendations for a long life sealer/stain ? Location is around Kalamazoo Michigan.
