Is it a message that you posted? I'm assuming so.
At the bottom of the post there is three buttons, click on the DELETE one and go forward.
If you just want to change something in the message click EDIT, go in and make your change and continue on.
I just edited to let you know that you can not change anything in others post, only yours. You wont see the three buttons in posts that were not initiated by you. After my edit I hit the APPLY button at the bottom and continue.

im trying to deleat the heading from the left side. whatever you call that colum.
You can't.That means that the whole thread has to be deleted. Only the Sysop can do that. However, if you just don't want to see ones that you have already seen then at the top left is a Show Discussion window with a drop downlist. Set it to "with Unread Messages".I believe that you need to be in the advanced view to for that to work.At the bottom of the message window is an option to switch to Advanced (if you are in BAsic) or Basic if you are in Advanced.

But I see that your orginal message has been deleted. So I guess you figured it out.
