delta thermostatic shower control
Weekend worrier here. We’re preparing to tackle the second bathroom, with a shower (no tub). We need to show some progress to keep the permit open, so today, while consulting with the kitchen/bath designer at our locally owned box store, we bought a Delta thermostatically controlled tub/shower faucet (http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/1755-716.html?document=ts&documentIndex=0).
Two handles, one for temp and one for volume – I hate and detest those shower controls that let you choose temp but pound you with the water.
If anyone’s had experiences with these, positive or negative, I’d love to hear them. I’d rather hear before it goes behind tile if there are issues.

I've got a similar one, but a Grohe, not a Delta. Love it. Never have to worry about the temp, just turn on the water (as much or as little as you want) and it's just like you left it, temp-wise.
That said, it's freaky how much cooler I like the shower in the summer than in the winter. I always suspected that the temp would be about the same (tho' maybe using more hot water to make up for the colder cold water), but I end up turning the temp WAY down in the summer.

Everything fits, until you put glue on it.
