Hello fellow worker bees, I am looking for a source to obtain a demo chute. Is there another name for it ? You know the type you suspend from the second floor window and the other end rests in the dumpster, then you shovel debris into it and nicely it goes right where it should. it is expandable to conform to situations etc. of course there is the old 24″ sona tube method, or the time tested plywood 2×4 thinga ma jig, I’m looking for an upgrade. or a better idea.. To transport plaster mainly. Thanks for any /all.

Thanks Barry sounds like just the lead I was looking for. Nice work. Shotsy
I've also seen demo chutes made of 50 Gal rubbemaid garbage pails with the bottoms cut out. you then tie the handles together so they feed into one another.
Not sure what the cost difference is between the two methods, but it is another way to do things.

Last one I saw that impressed me was made with sections of 30" diameter culvert pipe with a square plywood ramp and enclosure at each floor and sections of tire tread bolted on at the bottom to contain any shrapnel.
