Ok … so I it’s common knowledge I dislike home sleezo.
But I just found out that they require full payment on an installed sale before the so called installer will even show up.
Sorry, but once again I got a problem with that.
Anyone else require payment in full before you’ll show up to work?

Not legal in some states.
They get around it here in Maryland. Our Home improvement law states you may only collect 1/3 at time of contract signing. The other 2/3's must be collected at another time, they just get it before doing any work.
Here in MA HD and Lowes do the same, require 100% payment of materials and labor at the time of the contract before any materials are ordered etc.
Frankly I'm not sure why you would go through them anyways for most stuff. I did get my bathroom floor done through Lowes with little problem with the install. Although HD is always an issue from the people I've talked to.
Some guy from work is having HD install windows for $365 ea. He had to choose a lower line of window to handle their install charge in budget. I have a lot of issues with that whole scenario....so much so that I didn't even say anything. He'll learn.
