Does anyone have problems with their Dewalt jig jaw’s blades popping out? The toolless blade change model. I have the clamping mechanism 3x and the clutch 1x. I’m wondering if I got a dud. Tool repair guy said he’s never heard of this problem before and the regional rep said I am abusing the saw. Give me a break, I use it mainly for deck work and when installing hardwood floors. any feedback?

Which model? They recently introduced a new one. The first one I had was useless, but the new model is great. Never had any problem with either model dropping blades.
I have a Dewalt 18V cordless jigsaw, approximately 2-3 years old. I only use it occasionally and it has worked great every time. I've never had a problem with the blade falling out, but I have bent a blade or two abusing it.
I bought the cordless one on sale and I can't get a blade to stay in it. The blade fits in but when I try and tighten it down it never seems to lock in place.
ANDYSZ2I MAY DISAGREE WITH WHAT YOUR SAYING BUT I WILL DEFEND TO THE DEATH YOUR RIGHT TO SAY IT.

Bought the 18v saw, same problem, finished the job with 35 year old crapsman that I bought the cordless saw to replace.
