Hello again ,
I am looking for waterproof decking similar to dex-o-tex for my house renovation. Dex-o-tex is apparently only interested in big jobs, commercial applications, I haven’t been able to get them to bid and am looking for equivalent. Some of the decking is to be applied on the interior of the structure at the entrance (about 70 sq. feet) the remainder on the exterior approach deck (about 240 sq. feet). Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have a good thanksgiving, best regards, Ben White

Hello Mike,
Thanks for your suggestions. I have two situations with the decking, one requirement is as a waterproof deck that at the entrance to our house on a second story and the first story at that point must be protected from water, the other application is the deck itself leading to the entrance which also should be waterproof as it must be plastered underneath due to fire code here in Southern Calif. The continuous deck leads from the street to the second floor entrance. I hope this explains the situation better. Thanks very, best regards, Ben White
ben.. my inclination would be a 60mil rubber membrane roof for the larger section with sleepers and a walkable deck over it.. if you have the depth below finish floor
the final surface should still be below your finsish floor to prevent splash and blow-by into the finish area.. if teh entrance is well covered and protected , it could be the same elevation as the finish
if you don't have the depth, you could use an epoxy on fiberglass matt with a non-skid surface..
there are other proprietary finishes you can do... but those are pretty much gold-standardMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
