Know there are spec. dimmers for low voltage, tho have seen some of the slide dimmers (reg) work l.v. puck lites and low v. dimmers work 110. You're talking burning out the l.v. transf. right?
*Make sure that you are using a dimmable transformer - not all of them are. See, for instance, Sea Gull Lighting's 'Ambiance' components, etc.With LV lighting, it's very important that transformers be matched to loads, that wiring distances aren't exceeded and that the proper components are used. Check with your local lighting supply house.Jeff
