direct hot water heater advice please
I am building a multi-station shower in a rural location, and would like to use a direct fired propane hot water heater (Bosch Aquastar or equivalent) or solar. Electricity is available, but it would have to be via generator which would ruin the solitude. Any thoughts? wit? sarcasm? Thanks!

We have the Takagi TK1 and it's awesome! Our gas bill for October for example, was $8.95 (plus $10.50 delivery charge!). The new Takagi T-H1 looks good too.

I have a Rinnai unit and love it, especially because my home is used on and off in the fall, winter, and spring. That said, you have to plan carefully for your direct vent location. If you can vent it, i'd say go for it.
