Just about every dishwasher I’ve seen has tabs on the front to screw into the bottom of the countertop for stability.
How does this work with solid surface countertops like granite, Corian, concrete, whatever?

I attach a piece of wood (same as the cabinets) between the stiles of the cabinets on either side of the dishwasher. It runs right over the top of the dishwasher.
Glue it to the bottom of the countertop with PL Premium and screw the dishwasher into it.
Right on BoJangles. Otherwise have the countertop installers drill it. They usually use a new hammerdrill bit with a stop on it and use a plastic plug anchor.
A lot of dishwashers are made to be able to move those two tabs down to the sides and fasten to the cabinets frame.
Thanks all!!
I know kitchen aide has provisions to screw through the sides into the cabinets. Also, on corian, we drill into the build up and install plastic screw anchors onsite to attach older dishwashers. Just don't drill too deep.
