I have some lanscapeing being done. And the landscaper put in more then adequate drainage. But I was told by my landscaper that my drainage for my shop is wrong.(concrete guy did that drainage) The guy that put in my drainage put in 4 inch drain pipe. I have 3 inch in the rest of the yard and house. But that is not the problem. The problem lies(so the landscaper tells me) in he used 4 inch white drain pipe ,with the holes on the side. This is behind my shop next to a fence. The landscaper said he should have used the 3 inch pipe with the fabric wrap or sox. He said that the pipe will eventually clog up with roots and dirt. My question is should I pull it, and put in the 3 inch pipe with the sox or leave it?

Drainage for what? Are you trying to get groundwater away from your foundation, or something else?
My thought would be if it ain't broke don't fix it. If your landscaping is already in, and the drain system works, why tear it all back out? Ig the pipe clogs up in 10 or 20 years deal with it then.
I stayed up all night worrying about why I've been so tired
I second the Boss' comments. Don't fix it until it is broke. Your landscaper's technique is definitely better though.
If you are in a northern climate, keep an eye on that area. If the soil stays saturated after rain, then there is a drainage problem. This could become a frost or frost heave problem during winter months. In that case, it is time to fix it according to your landscaper's technique.
In ten or twenty years when it's time to replace it, new products and techniques will make the landscapers method outdated too. Some young whippersnapper will be saying, "this guy did this wrong"
For now, they both work fine.
