We used a cement-board product a few tears ago to seal up some alley facing windows. We needed something not looking too bad, but still fairly burglar and beer bottle proof…and what we found worked great. It was a duro rock type cement board, that had a stucco like texture already applied. All to do to weather proof was a quick coat of paint.
The lumber yard we bought it from is since out of business, and the others have no idea what I’m talking about…the guy at Lowes remembers they don’t carry it, but everyone asks for it….and I’m yet to call HD.
So, now I may have to make my own with cement board and sacrete’s trowel on parging….but…can anyone here help? Any idea who makes it, or what it really called? ….or a better idea of where to look? Thanks, Jeff

Yeah, and after you find that stuff for Heffe, how about some masonite with 3 german drop beaded thingys. I'm not kidding, but I'm sure Jeff is.
*Hardie & Durapress (Certainteed ) make panel stock , textured and smooth...
*There's a Hardie type product that comes in 4 x 8 sheets Jeff. I think it's 1/2", or maybe 5/8" thick, with maybe two or three different surfaces to choose from. Stuff is a bearcat to move around, man - seriously heavy. Try the Hardie web site, or maybe Louisiana Pacific.
*Hey....thanks! I never even thought of Hardi stuff today! Maybe that's why the guy at the yard I called today didn't comprehend. Sometimes one little owrd....like a name brand....helps! Jeff
