If so check this out. I bet it’s pricey but it sure looks slick.

Can you hold the laser level while I shave?
Wonder how much it weighs? If it's way light, that's the only reason I can see it would be any better than the PC, which does a great job and is more rugged than the Festool looks.
And I suspect that the Festool price would be about double what I'd be willing to pay, since pretty much everything else they make is.
Nice box though! ;-) Looks like the guy is packin' a breakdown sniper's rifle.

Yeah, I don't know that I'd want to hold that over my head for very long. Fortunately I don't do much drywall, so I don't have to worry about that.
The video seems to be saying that the vacuum will hold it against the surface. The operator adjusts the vacuum strength according to what's required.
If it's anything like the PC, which I have, you probably need to make sure the vacuum isn't too strong. Otherwise it becomes a nice high speed drywall grinder ;)PaulB
That's true. We found a cheaper vacume (using bags of course) is actually better as it doesn't create as much suction. Man it will grind too! DanT
Festool vacs have a variable speed switch.
So does the PC. DanT
I'll be doing sanding by hand today at a customer's house. Would love to have the festool, but at the price, I'll probably be sanding by hand for a while. Besides, if I have a large rock job, I usually sub it out. Still though, cool tool.
