Dear Advisors,
We would like to marble the walls in the proposed shower area. What sort of scheduled maint. would that require? Is the sealant applied on the marble floor the same used for a shower?

You will have to reapply the sealant periodically. How often will depend on use and how good the sealer is. Buy the best stuff you can find (probably will cost $40 per quart). I've been told that the higher end sealer will require recoating once every 5 years or so. You'll know because the water will stop beading on the tiles. I would imagine you'd use the same sealer on walls or floors.
yep
