Does unfaced insulation sink?

Was wondering if unfaced insulation gradually sinks/settles in the wall cavity over time? Any remedy?

    In Ontario we only have unfaced f/g and it doesn't sink/settle, in fact it grows a little after installation. We seem to have a better grade of f/g here. In the states there seems to be two grades, with the high density stuff closer to our normal stuff.
