We are on the downhill slide of building a new house. The plan was designed with a closet beside each end of the whirlpool.
Turns out neither my husband nor I even thought about it. But, we special ordered 2 Jeld-Win Impressions doors. They have a mirror on one side. I want this mirror to be on the bathroom side.
These doors swing in and take up one side of the closet space. I was at Container Store to design closet space, and they pointed this out to me. Asked if we could turn the doors to swing out.
The bottom rail has more door area than the top on the mirrored side. Any suggestions on how to re-frame these doors so they can swing out and still have the mirror on the outside?
Thank you, Deb

Since you're not getting a lot of response to your question here, you may try asking it at the Breaktime forum (second one over above the "Start, Login,...." buttons above). They can be a little rough over there, so don't be put off.
If the doors are not that expensive I would order new doors. Rehanging the doors can be done but the labor cost might be more than a new door.
You would have to remove the door, Fill the hinge mortises on both the door and the jamb. Remove the door stop and remortise the hinges on the door and the jamb on the opposite side. The you have to patch and paint the hole drilled for the strike plate and drill a new hole for the strike plate on the opposite jamb.
You could also remove the hinges and remortise the door and jambs for new hinges made for opening the doors outward as well as moveing the stops and doing all the refilling and paint ect.
But I still would look into new doors.
