I am remodeling my kitchen, and in the process moving the sink. The existing drain is a 1 1/2″ PVC line, with a 1 1/2″ PVC vent. I am trying to find out if this is correct, I have been told that “I think you need a 2″ drain” from guys who may or may not be correct. I would like to install a new 1 1/2″ drain and vent for the new sink, and then just run the new lines over to the existing ones. Does anyone know if I have to use a 2″ drain? I do plan on having a dishwasher, but no garbage disposal. Thanks,
Dave
