I installed a drip system in my front yard. Whenever the system cycles on my copper water pipes vibrate and create a super annoying hum that can be heard throughout the house.
My guess is the valve on the drip system that reduces the pressure from the incoming house cold water pressure. I assume that eventually all the joints will weaken and something is gonna give.
Anyone had a similar experience, and if so any solutions short of not using a drip system?

is the pressure reducer connected to solid pipe of the house (like at the spigot)? If so try putting a piece of hose between it and the house.
Yes, makes sense. I will do this. Thanks so much for the info.
