   I guess "It depends" could answer all three of your questions. 5000 pounds is actually not heavy at all. What about 40,000 pound delivery trucks? In July with some soils you need no driveway.

   Rob hints at it, here it is straight:

   Any driveway will hold this weight if properly designed and constructed.

   Likewise, any driveway will fail if poorly
   designed and built.

   What is the best driveway for a 5000lbs truck? It has to be nice enough for the wife and colonial house.
