What are the pro’s and con’s or code violations if I were to tie my gas dryer vent and my down draft gas range vent togther?
Do I need to use double walled pipe? Or is that just for water heaters and furnaces.
Both appl. will be in the newly remodeld kitchen.

The pros are it's easy
The cons are if a fire doesn't kill you the CO probably will.

I think it's a great idea. Dryer vents are a pain to clean the lint out of. Stove vents are a pain to clean the grease out of.
The combination would be damn near impossible, so you'd have a lot more free time on your hands before that fire or CO event!
one more pro - the downy fabric softener would cover up the fried fish smell so fewer cats would be camping out under the porch.
cons - lint and kitchen grease don't make a very good torch. I prefer kerosene and old rags.
Do you wish you hadn't posted this idea yet?
Don't be embarrassed - we all think of boners once in a while. If you hadn't posted the Q and gone ahead and done it...well now there's a good chance you'll still be around to join in the fun for a couple more years.
I guess I'll need to redo that vent this weekend.

well...you know what they say...the dumbest questions are the ones that are never asked..although in this case.....!
I kinda knew the answer before I posted but I'd never heard one way or the other...now everything is much clearer.
I guess I'll need to redo that vent this weekend.
