I have never used this particular product. A full blown plaster job should cure and be ready for painting in about one month. Pre mix spackle or mud/compound about one day. The stuff you used? Not to be a wise guy but what does it say on the packaging?
*Under good drying conditions, it may be painted 48 hours later. You must use an alkali-resistant primer specifically formulated for veneer plaster, then you will be ready for any latex or oil-based coating. (conventional plaster takes 30 days to cure before painting). Hope this helps.Billy
