have 25 x 31 room. Ceiling is sheetrocked, primed with USG First Coat and painted with flat ceiling white. In low angle light seems and butt joints appear. How do we correct this. There is some crowning at seems and butt joints and we have feathered these out further. The slight orange peel effect does not appear as intense or as even where newly feathered. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Try a light knockdown type texture. Still gives a smooth look, but hides slight impefections.

Have 25 x 31 room; new sheetrock ceiling on new construction. Ridges formed at butt joints and seams. As a result low angle light creates shadows such that one can see entire grid work. Can we correct this by feathering out seams and then skim coating between?
