DRYWALL REPAIR – Corner tape lifted
Folks –
Back at the GotBuck’s McMansion (You paid X million for this and they stuck you with particle board cabinets?!), the painters have pointed out that about 18″ of corner tape has lifted. It’s in a 1.5″ space behind the bathroom door. Working room – got none.
What is a good and efficient fix for this? I better get it fixed and textured Monday so they can paint.
Slit it open and infuse ???? to glue it down.
Cut if out and repair?

Pull the piece of casing that's in your way. Fix with 20 minute compound. Replace casing.

Remove the tape and use a 1-1/4" putty knife to retape. Ditto the 20 minute compound. -----------------------------------------------------------
