something that makes it faster and easier......cheap liquid dish soap! Mix it into the premix buckets to thin better than water. Makes it nice and creamy. Jeff
*Understanding that aside from a couple of basements, my drywall experience is in repairs, filling holes, adding/subtracting a doorway, that kind of stuff. 1) for a drywall gun I use a Milwaukee 2) for various spreaders/spatulas/knives, nothing but Richard 3) for utility knives, only a Stanley retractable and Richard disposibles.
*Make sure that the metal of the blades for the taping knives, and the metal for everything else is stainless steel. Blue coated steel, and plain steel will rust. THEN you have mess to deal with.James

*I am also interested in dry wall tools. specifically a "mud box", I looked at Tape Etch tools line. My question is are there other, cheaper brands out there. The Tape Etch unit is nice but very exspensive. Also is a mud box too much trouble for renovation work. Is it more for large jobs with numerous seams. Any opinions greatly appriecaited

*I have a full set of tape tech tools. I dont use them for remodel usally.It takes 1 1/2 hrs. tool up,clean up and store. I need too tape all day-----so on to use them.I use a banjo on most remodel. 1 min.clean up! nuff said.
