Just got back from the grocery store, where, out of curiosity, I picked up a roll of Gorilla Tape. Looks a lot like Duct Tape, which, as we all should know by now, is good for many jobs, but not for sealing ducts.
This tape just might be good for sealing gorillas, if it was carefully wrapped, and the end was pinched off just so. I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t want to risk a paternity suit myself. And I always yelp when that stuff gets pulled off. I’ll stick with Trojans.
Seriously, did I just buy a half roll of Duct Tape for the price of a whole roll? Or does this tape have any properties that set it apart? When in doubt, I buy small quantities of things, and mess around a bit to see what I think.
But I’m going out of town for a few days. I’ll play around when I get back. What do you guys think of Gorilla Tape?

It's just marketing. Check out Lamb-Tape, the original velcro.
Got some. Unimpressed. The glue creeps when it gets hot, and makes a mess. Not many other good attributes, but it is better than ordinary duct tape. It's a locally made product, so I had to try it.
I tried a roll a ways back..............I said to myself after using it, "so where's the magic w/this stuff"? I figured the magic was how it crawled into my wallet and stole my money!!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->
WOW!!! What a Ride!Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
The only "special" thing I noticed about it is that it works well in the cold. Otherwise I use the scotch brand tape.
"It is what it is."
I've had good luck with it. MUCH stronger than duct tape and greater sticking power by far. Had a client with a rotted out window sill in 4* weather, it stuck then and stayed on thru spring keeping water and snow and the cold out.
Get ahold of some military "100 MPH" tape. Now THAT stuff holds...
