Does anyone have one and like it or not? I need a new case, but can’t decide between the Master’s Contractors case or just the Portfolio.
What do ya’ll have that you like or wish you’d never bought?

This centuries-old paint offers vapor-permeabiity, maintainability, and longevity with zero VOCs, but know its limitations before you get to work.

I have one I've had for several years now, Mike. It has held up great, I really like it. I'm not sure if they still make this one but when I bought it it was just called "Contractor's Briefcase".
Just went to check and there's a sewn on label on the flap that says "Duck Wear", so maybe I didn't get this from Duluth Trading, but I though so. About 30 bones in the late 90s, if I remember right.
I believe Duluth is a subset of http://www.gemplers.com Perhaps you know that. Gemplers has a much larger catalog.
What do you spose their pointing at in this picture from the front page of that web site? Think Imerc's been through?

I`ve had mine for about five years....hadda go back to the website to find which model it was/is.
Turns out its the "Tradesmans Breifcase"....I love it....lots of room, plenty of pockets.
I also have the Portfolio...don`t lik it a bit....in fact, if you want it, Email me your address and I`ll mail it to ya....well, if I can find it....probably stashed in my attic....but I`ll dig it out if you`d like. Its an older model.....the one on the website looks a bit different....same general idea though.

While on the subject of Duluth products (think of this as a detour rather than a hijack ;) ) someone gave me a new tool bag from them. It's very nicely made but it's a backpack style. Maybe I'm lacking imagination but I can't quite get the purpose of a backpack tool bag. Am I missing something, like maybe carrying your tools up a rock face?
That'd be real handy as you ride your horse (iron or 4-legged variety, your choice) from village to village plying your trade. Get back to the root of the term 'journeyman'. Seriously, in any big city, jump on the subway early in the morning and look around for tradesmen heading to commercial work downtown. Skilsaws, buckets, rolling toolboxes, the works. Plenty o' guys out there doing the work without a truck.
ooops. thought you were talkin' bout' your website...sorry.
I'm a bit addicted to DL Trading Co.....Might have to take out my fleece lined jeans soon.
Be freezin' my azz off already

Mike you may want to check out http://www.duluthpack.com/index.asp They are the company that makes the original Duluth packs. Personally I consider Duluth Trading's bags to be third rate in quality when compared to Duluth Packs which are made in good old Duluth MN. Duluth Trading has some things that I like, but they just are not even close to being in the same league when it comes to quality in my opinion.
One of my Duluth Packs that I used while in collage wore the bottom out after a couple of years. I sent it in and they sewed in a leather bottom and sent me a bill for $5.00. That didn't even cover their UPS charge. I have also have a couple of their original packs that are 50 plus years old that needed a little TLC on a couple of seams and they came back "No Charge" When is last time you found a company that stands behind their products like that.
I have the Builders Portfolio and I like it. It tends to be a conversation starter in Minnesota where anyone who has gone up into the boundary waters will recognize their products.
I also have the contractors briefcase. It works well for me and would recomend it.
