Are you talking shop type vac or a home type vac? If they make a shop type vac, I don't know about it.
We have a Dyson for the house and it really sucks, a lot of dirt, that is.
We surely breathe a lot cleaner now than before.
We have the original yellow one, about a year old, paid about $400, got a frivolous attachment for $70 that we don't need and never use.
But the vac itself is top of the line.

I've got my sister in law's right now helping me clean up for a cross country move. I'm in love! And I'm junking my old hoover upright. The dyson is surprisingly maneouverable. Great suction. Not so great up in corners and edges, but what vacuum is? That's what attachments are for.I'll buy one after I get moved.
Home use. The "animal" is any color ya want, as long as it is purple. Got that steering ball dohicky goin on..life time HEPA filter(doan know about that, it has to be a ruse).
I have 2 quats and a dog that is projectile shedding..even MORE when I whittle on him with a well approven dog grooming utensile..my sinuses need a break, and we have a fake berber type rug, which wil be gone, come spring cleaning...Nasty.
The DW really wrenched her back, using the ol noisy shop vac yesterday...enought to warrent a trip to the chiro..and he said ( sure he did) "No more vacuuming, for you" She musta paid him to say that...any whos..I AM now taking over the dreaded task, and BY GOD as my witness, I will do it in under 60 seconds if at all possible.
Glad ya like yers..sounds promising so far.

With mine, you can see the dirt, hair, etc in the clear cannister and it is totally amazing how dirty the house is and doesn't look it. You will be amazed at the crap that you will pick up, cat, dog hair, skin,,,,,,,,,
suppose to be the last vacuum you will ever buy, that's also why I painted my house with duration.

Thanks, I feel more confident that when she gets home from a trip this weekend, I can sparkle.
Her Bday is in two weeks tho'...and getting THIS ain't gonna fly as a "Gift"...LOL
You sound happy with the unit..that is reassuring.

tie a boquet of flowers to it with a nice card and a fancy dinner out.
I am the cleaner in my household and dyson makes it tons easier. I use the attachment brush to clean everything that the floor sucker won't get.

I think I'll get more suction ( oh boy) by doing the deed myself..ya get my drift?
I'll have the gutters up by this time tomorrow..that is a good place to get points..
For the Bday, I'll just write a new song and play the guitar behind a candle illuminating a massive cheesecake...ain't met a gurl yet that don't like that.

Toooooo funny. twwwwooo funnnie.
My woman don't care much for gutters, but cheesecake, now we're talking.

I don't know if you can work "projectile shedding" into the lyrics, but it would certainly give you extra points if it were MY birthday.
Don't temp me..I can.
I just heard a story about Laurel Canyon, and the do'ers that spent thier time around there...S. Stills, Graham Nash, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, And of all the best..Joni.
Roger Mc Guinn, America, ZAppa...
I was there, in spirit form. As I am come to you now..just spirit.
I got one in queue for you, if ya want..but our lastest email was kinda of a drag for my creativity..and for some reason, I am shopping also for a Tenor SAX...and I dusted off the Bass ( no not the fish that sings) and detuned it ala' Morphine.
"Projectile shedding" Sounds tititular..as in "shickled titless"
I bet, that won't post...love you.

My Siberian Husky is a pretty good pelt expeller.
I had a co-pilot in the NAC that had 2 of them. His DW saved the sheddings and spun yarn ( no she never washed the raw or finished) and then knitted garments that if it was visible, would scare away the crew, and if it was invisable, some smart aszz would hump you.

"I am a woman of heart and mind."I saw an American Masters piece on her. She was awesome in the day, but a little sad to see her now.Okay, lyrics à la Joni:He's a real good talker, i think he's a friend
But this projectile shedding drives me 'round the bend
Without my Dyson
Suction fails
And i'm nailing his pelt to the wall.
How about: Sung and palyed to " I wish I had a river"
It sucks on Chistmas
An Athiest I am
Projectile shedding will ruuuuuuun to the end
I wish I was Dyson..
Just to watch me go...
I havea speed ball mentality
A man behind the wheel
all this suction
but I don't know how to feel..
I wish I had some fur now
just to test my steel
With 2 hepa filters
and a color to rage
I'll suck the parrot
right outta her cage
I love being a dyson
plug me in and lets go...
God stop me..please.

"God stop me..please."No way! I could drink a case of you!
Great..now I am dusting off vinyl and plastic discs and creating a need for vacuum..while I sneeze.
Did ja know that Graham came home, and Joni had bought a new vase ( ok vase) and it was a chill in the house...so being a manly man , he lit a fire...and took off the chill of the canyon lands down draft..
THEN , then. He attacked the piano's unsuspecting register as Joni was writing "Blue" ( OK, I jumped to that conclusion) and wrought forth "Our House"..in the elapsed time of 20 minutes...
The song has been done live, in a greater measure of time then the inception of it's self..
Being a wanna be ..that is impressive.
Ideally, this was a mention of the union of "free love", the hell w/ marriage, and above all the return to domestic travails as we enjoy it now...pace setting at it's finest.

You can get anything you want.......at Alice's restaurant.etc.
Actually...I didn't put that garbage there.(G)
I have had a few TG's w/ Arlo and Bonnie..in the real life past..way before she got out of obscure and Arlo was coasting on "hobo's lullaby" circa '74 (?)
WE were at my then BIL's house..barely electric, all eclectic.
And we never had to take out the trash.

...and now you want a SOTA vacuum cleaner. We've become our parents!
My wife INSISTED on getting one as a gift. Budget is tight and we needed a new vac after the old one quit and I shot it.
It works, very well. IN a house with no carpeting and a long hair cat that "projectile sheds", as you put it.
Most online reviews rank the Dyson's at about average. They're better than a lot, but there's many that are just as good or even better without the 'designer' price tag.
As for me, I've given up on the bagless vacs. They're less efficient unless you constantly empty them and emptying them is messy.
I have two. One for home, and one for customer's homes.
I bought both reconditioned.
http://www.best-vacuum.com/dyson-DCO7steelyellow.html
They work great, but I'm not convinced they are any better than less expensive models.
We change the course of history,
everyday people like you and me
We didn't look at the Dyson, but we did get a Miehle. So quite it doesn't even scare the cat, very light weight, great cord retractor, good filters, and great attachements, including micro attachements for computer stuff.
Around $400, I think, two years ago.
We have two large hairy dogs. It picks up real well after them. After a few uses I have to give the rotating brush bar a haircut, but I had to do that to the old sears we had before. Its nice not to have to buy bags.
The Dyson suction combined with it being close to the floor can hold a small piece of gravel between the two surfaces. This can cause scratching on hardwood floors as you move around. I have learned that the hard way.
The difference between the animal and the next one down is the animal comes with an extra brush/furniture attachment.
And all..DAMM Y'all er good!
I'll get it. I think the high $ attachments may be a chip to be bargained with...geeze I have 4 shop vacs already with all the doodads.
Thank ya so much, the weight favours the positive feed.

Just got it home..and did a test drive in the office.
5 stars, thumbs up, absolutly in freakin credible. I did a 3'x5' area, and can SEE what is being took away that the old sucker never did pick up...REALLY!
The hepa filter is a godsend, but needs washing every 6 mos. Ok I can deal w/ that.
I swear, if you like clean like I do, this is the cats azz.
I went Aaron's where I got the LCD TV, and they had a bunch of coupons and deals for me cuz I paid cash for the TV..so all said and done, I am just under the 600$ mark..but it is worth 2x that imo.
Now I have a shot at the bed, and washer /dryer as a prefferred customer..everything is negotiable, if ya play the game
I jokingly asked the hottie if she would test drive the bed I am looking at...she said no, but..I can be there tonite..then wrote her # on my hand with a sharpie marker.
"Uh, Houston? We have suction"
Of course, I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing with the waif away and all that...I am having too much fun vacuuming.
Later dudes and dudettes..suction is GOOD !
PS, yes I hid all the attachments that look threatening to my servitudenal status as a husband.
