The radius is 32ft, across a deck roughly 14′ wide. I’ll be bolting 4×4 railing posts to the outside of a 5/4 cedar band. My thought is that the edge flashing would cover the band, and the posts would cover the flashing.
What materials are out there for DIY, or do I need to call my sheet-metal dude?
A standardized approach, quick-to-install hardware, and a simplified design make building custom casework cost-effective.
