Contact all of your past customers and ask them for referals..
That plus make yourself recognizable.. Signage on equipment, signs on projects in process, Do something which sets you apart in a positive way from others..
One local builder bought a old 1930's pickup and turned it into a woody.. drives it in parades, uses it on nice days to call on customers, People notice it when he goes to hardware stores and does local business.
Paid $3000 for the truck, another $5000 to restore it and spent one winter making the wooden body for it..
