I am building a new home and have the option to install either an electric boiler or gas boiler for the radiant heating system. The electric company tells me if I go on their “program” that it will cost an equivalent of .98 / gallon of natural gas to run the electric boiler. Any opinions?

i went totally electric on my house because, electruty is 100 % efficent and for the power compant to raise rate they must go through an act of congress. while the gas company can raise rate when the wind blows.
