Are you able to re-use the current box and ground appropriately?
Living in a 95 year old house, I feel your pain. Re-wired he entire house. Some existing boxes were re-used and new one's were added to the 8" base boards.
The boxes with the straps, at least in my house, are mounted together and could not be removed from the strap.
Thanks
Barney
I have used a plastic box that is grey and has metal swing out tabs not the plastic tabs these seemed best for me.
