Hi
I work with a mason and he recently replaced his gas powered quick saw with an electric. The gas one never worked consistently and it was HEAVY! He bought a "Partner" and it is quite nice. It isn't as loud or as heavy. The only thing I would be wary of is the trigger I don't know how long it will last in the dusty environment of brick cutting. Hope this helps
