Morning All,
I have gotten one recommendation from someone in terms of hiring an electrician for finishing my basement. I plan on seeking a couple of more bids, but I wanted to start a tangent conversation and hopefully get some feedback from some electricians.
The wife and I are thinking if it would be advantageous for us to ask for inclusive items in the overall bid that are not part of the basement. Some of these include line-voltage (install a ceiling box for light and or fan) and also low-voltage (install some POTS, coax, and datacom lines in several rooms.
Is there an advantage do having something like this inclusive? Do traditional electricians also hand low-voltage?

They may. More usual is for the sparky to run the wire, mount the box, and let the low-voltage guys finish up.
