Hi,
I am installing a 100 amp subpanel in my garage. There is a sink in my garage and I wanted to know what the minimum distance by code that I have to maintain between the sink and the subpanel? The optimum location for the subpanel would be a foot or two to the side of the sink.

My code book just says that there must be a space clear of ducts and pipes above the panel and it can't be located in a bathroom or toilet room or closet. Doesn't sau ahything that I could find about sinks. Also says there must be a clear space around the panel 36" deep by 30" wide by 6'-6" high.
