I caught the second half of a segment on the local news last night that ran down a list of substantial rebates from the federal government concerning Energy-Star rated home improvement upgrades to existing homes.
The benefits come in the form of tax rebates and are reported w/ your filed tax returns. They were pretty substantial. Things like 10% of cost up to $200 on E-star window replacements. $300 or 10% on door replacement. $300 for HWH upgrade. There were more, but I missed a substantial part of the clip.
Anyone know where I can find out more information these programs? Anyone else heard about this?

Perfect. Thanks very much.View Image
Cool. Every dollar helps. I was kinda disappointed that the town where my project house is located doesn't have all the rebates that my current electric utility offers. I would have gotten around $2k in rebates.
