I’m considering using an engeneered wood. It’s not like a pergo this is on plywood with a 3/8 Mahogany venner on top. It looks authentic for the house. However, it’s supposed to be glued down to the subfloor. Any suggestions or experiences when dealing with engeneered wood. I guess I’m just a little bit skeptical of a newer product. Any reply is appreciated. Nick

I guess I'm the Breaktime police or something, but I'd say post your question at Breaktime and you'll get more responses.
Nick,
It depends on the manufacturer of your engineered product. We've put down a couple in our house where we wanted a wood floor below grade (and solid wood is a definite no-no), and we stapled both of them to the subfloor rather than glue.
