I’m got to make a 100 mile trip tomorrow to get some of this mastic, and it occurs to me that it might make sense to get some idea of how much I need. Anyone have a vague idea of how many lineal feet per tube?
Thanks.
Thon

Skim-coating with joint compound covers texture, renews old drywall and plaster, and leaves smooth surfaces ready to paint.

Tab,
Geez, wouldn't it be cheaper to have them ship it???
I don't remember how many feet you get from a tube. I would think the supplier could answer that.
My (very conservative) wild a$$ guess, fifteen feet.

Another day, another tool.
It probably would be cheaper to have them ship it but I need a few lenghts of T bar also, and more importantly, with this week of weird weather in the 60's, I want to try to finish the roof (and the concrete) in the next 3 days. (It's also a good excuse to get the old Jag out and forget about these projects for a few hours.) <G>
I hope they have info on feet/tube of mastic but thought it safest to have a back-up plan--just in case.
Thanks again.

Coverage of approximately 10 lineal feet per cartridge of 3/8" to 1/2" bead.
From the Firestone web site.
