Anyone have any actual experience using epoxy concrete patch? The application is repairing chips up to a few inches long on the grass side edge of curb and gutter. A municipal inspector says a 25′ section of C&G needs to be replaced because of chips. ($40 a linear foot) I’ve already replaced ~60′. He says either replace or use epoxy patch which I can’t find locally and am not even sure it actually exists for this kind of application. Really I don’t think he knows what he is talking about, or at the least has no actual knowledge of what he is recommending.

I have used the epoxy porducts on an old warehouse loading dock. The place is abandoned now. We store some office furniture there so I go there once or twice a month. The patches are still holding up just fine after about 15 years.
I think they have a product for vertical and overhead applications. Not cheap IIRCC, but you might get the jodone for less than $40 LF.
What Pete and Brownie said. HD carries it and it is called topping compound. It's pre mixed. Some people use it to do mud floors for showers but I find it a bit expensive for that application.
