Estimating software, good price
I’ve seen a lot of guys ask questions on how to estimate or what software to use. Problem usually is that the software costs so much.
I have used Crafstman Books software for estimating and I think I paid $50 per book back in 1998 when I bought the set I still have. Each book came with a CD as well for computer estimating.
I lost my harddrive a bit ago and in the process of getting things back on track I checked into what the updated software would cost and I was floored to find out that they are offering 9 titles worth for only $54.99… for all 9… not each!
I just jumped on it myself and am in the process of downloading the software.
I thought some of you might find it a good deal as well.
I don’t use the software as the bible for what I should charge but it is certainly a great organizing tool and strong second opinion for verifying my “old-fashioned” estimate results.
Their web address is http://craftsman-book.com/
They also offer some free software too.
