Arrival of my new issue day? Joe H
*Andy said near future, and web goombahs don't speak with forked tongue. You'll find the Events page at http://www.taunton.com/fh/admin/events.htmfyi, Joe, I don't have my new issue on my desk either. And I work at Taunton!
*Today's big event is my new issue came. Postal employees finished with it & delivered it today!! Joe H
*Does my birthday count as an event?Ed. Williams
*Andy, can you define "event?"You don't really want to know every time we get ready to build something do you?
*I think it's an event everytime Blodgett posts!Whether it's a good event or otherwise...it is not my place to say...Rich Beckman
*Mad Dog,We've been working on one house here in Dallas for over 6 years. If the client ever lets us finish..........man, that will be one for the calender.Ed. Williams
*No, Mad Dog, I don't want to know everytime one of you builds something, unless it's really cool and we can make an article out of it. For the events calender, I want to know about seminars, timber-frame raisings to which the public is invited, trade shows, meetings; any public event related to building that might interest a typical reader of Fine Homebuilding. The events don't need to have national import, regional gatherings qualify as well.Andy
*Andy, I think it IS an event when my issue arrives. Especially when I find my name inside. Even if it is spelled wrong. Actually it was Mad Dog post about his dog's picture back on July 15th that got me wondering where it was & when I might get a look at it. Joe H
*Joe, my apologies. Considering that I see "Engel" spelled wrong more than right, I'm pretty careful with the spelling of names. I sure got yours wrong. Andy
*Sounds like a great idea. I'd like to attend more things that happen that I never find out about until it's too late.
*We've made an effort up 'til now to keep you in the dark about these events we attend...:-), Steve
*It's OK, Steve. It has been arranged that when Mad Dog's computer accesses the calendar, "these events we attend" will not be listed.Rich Beckman
*How about an Events Missed calender?Ed. Williams
