What is the protocol for installing radiant heat in an existing hardwood floor. If it is possible at all. I own a ranch house with forced hot air and I will be adding a second floor next year and I want a boiler for heating the house and would like to use radiant heat. I have about 1000 s. ft of existing hardwood which is will not be removed and I would like to install radiant in this area. The house is on a 3 foot high crawl space.
