This photo illustrates a technique I devised to compensate for poorly installed ODE roof flashing. ALL fascia boards (rotten) were replaced with new, primed and painted boards. Each board received a kerf cut into which I slipped L-shaped metal. The top edge of this metal was slipped under the existing ODE (overhand drip edge…it should have been GA gutter apron…sigh). I caulked the kerf with Lexel brand glue-caulk, and applied a final coat of paint.
